Jump back at decade. It’s New Year’s Eve 1999 and Barbra Streisand is performing before 13000 people in one of her infrequent concert appearances. As the clock chimed in the new millennium, Barbra performed Auld Lang Syne and asked the audience to sing along with her. It was a great moment.

Barbra knows how to perform and whenever she can overcome her almost paralyzing stage fright she can give a concert like the best of ‘em. This show was part of a tour she did that set attendance records. People love Babs and they’ve been loving her for over forty years. She’s Americana. She’s simply fabulous.

As we get ready to ring in another new decade, Barbra and her adoring audience from ten years past singing Auld Lang Syne together is sure to get us in the mood to begin the second ten years of the 21st Century.
