Christmas just wouldn’t be complete without Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas. Ms. Mariah has been making hits for two decades and she’s always adding to her catalogue. Even though most of her songs sound like retooled versions of themselves, occasionally she does top herself.

As was the case with her version of All I Want For Christmas. A really rocking number, this song always makes you feel good. Mariah’s vocals are really in top form here and the arrangement is just delightful. Nobody can be still when this one plays. It makes people jump like popping corn.

The video is also a treat. Showcasing Mariah in an exciting way, she really was at home with this material. People don’t get tired of this one because it’s simply a good piece of art. Mariah Carey doing what she does best; few do it better.
